I have been riding horses, roping on the ranch and competing in rodeos since I was 5 years old, I calf rope and team rope as well as ranch rope, and yes there is a difference.
I ride extreme trails in Canyon country CA with Anthony DeLongis and we practice off of horseback such things as sword, lance, guns, archery, throwing weapons, and Cavalry drills.
I can ride any saddle, such as Australian, English, Western, bareback saddles, bareback pads, and of course period saddles such as a McClellan and other cavalry saddles. |
